4 Key Principles In Achieving Your Dreams: How Bad Do You Want Them?

What does it cost to succeed? Persistence - Motivation - Sacrifice. Our dreams can be personal, professional and recreational. One thing about our dreams, they don't cost a thing. Dreams, talents and gifts are placed in our heart by God. Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you; says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

God desires us to have a good life, a good future. We were created for a purpose to fulfill on this earth. I believe our dreams are given to us to help us achieve higher levels continually in our life and to be a blessing to others. Some may dreams of a better job, new home, new car. Most of all I believe we all dreams to have great successful children and a family God will be happy with.

I can't emphasize enough - how bad do you want it? Are you willing to see your dreams come to past? Are you willing to press through any adversity, trial or temptation that would try to sway you away from your dreams? I hope so! When we dream, we must also remember we will be tested. Oh the times will come to see just what we are made out of. I have heard it described as Dream Thieves. That is why it is important to know:

1) Our dreams will be fulfilled in God's season

2) We can't let people put down our dreams

3) We must protect our dreams

4) We must be careful and mindful of whom we share our dreams with. Once you identify your dreams - Be determined - Be flexible and most of all be encouraged. Remember if it was so easy, everyone would be achieving it. Now I must say it is attainable, because what God has placed in us is surely appointed for a day and time.

Complacency can drive you away from your dreams. Procrastination is another enemy that will drift you off your path of your dreams. Don't let it happen. Once you recognize these two enemies take authority, speak the word of God and pursue! "Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you".

I remember so many times where I just didn't feel like working on my dreams. Just seemed the time wasn't right. Whether I wanted to sleep, eat or just being lazy. I believe if we become too complacent, it could cost us our dreams. We can't afford to let that happen. Remember there is someone somewhere that need what you have.

Believe that you are here for a purpose, a destiny and a path. A path and light for someone else. Not only for your home, your family but for others God allows coming in your path. Whatever you have a passion for, that will bring you great success in your life. Many people are unhappy in their life, for the simple fact that don't have passion or care for what they are doing. Especially their job. All they see is a paycheck and that is all. That is a need, not a passion. There is no fulfillment in that and we shouldn't go through life burdened down, frustrated and disgusted because we aren't willing to challenge our self to what is really in us.

Realize your potential is limitless in God. When you come to know who we are in Christ, there is nothing we can't achieve. When we are setting out for achieving great things in our life, seek help, look for a mentor, a friend that you trust and feel confident in. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Write out your plan and vision, and make it plain. Seeking someone who has achieved and still achieving great things will be a plus in your success. You must look for someone who has a determined mindset and is not selfish in any way in helping you.

Last thing to remember, you must remember when all Hell break lose, you are right at the door of your dream. The enemy would use this time to cause distraction, to break your focus, to lose your vision. Don't fall for it. If you can believe it - you can achieve it.

Keep your focus on what's in your heart, not on what or who is around you.

How Bad do You Want to Live the Life You Imagined? Are You Still WISHING for a Better Result?

Why is it that some sales professional are more successful than others? Why is it that some sell more in a month than many sales reps sell in their career? What separates the winners from the losers? The answers are simple but not easy.

In my experience working with everything from Fortune 500 companies and their top executives to individuals on social assistance attempting to enter the workforce for the first time, I have found that the difference is as simple as taking complete responsibility for your life. My experience with individuals who are not successful is that they constantly look for the magic pill, the hero on the white horse that rescues them from their dreadful life, while the leaders take complete responsibility for where they are and where they are going. There is no magic pill (sorry); no one is coming to rescue you. You can change jobs every 6 months hoping the 'next' one will be better, but it won't. Your results from your present sales career will 80% of the time follow you, if you are the top sales rep at your current company, you will be the top sales rep at your next company. If you are struggling, frustrated, and unsuccessful where you are you will carry that to where you are going as well. So how do you change your current results? This is where things can get exciting or frustrating depending on whether you think this is a magic pill article or a tool you can use to reach the top of your career. Tools can be helpful ONLY if they are used. A shovel sitting in the garage cannot be blamed for the hole not being dug.

First of all, commit to taking 100% responsibility for your life - no more blaming, no more excuses, it is your life and if you want to achieve superior results it will be up to YOU! Quit whining, get away from the others in your life that bitch, whine and complain about how they are hard done by. 99% of your success will be determined by your relationships. Be very careful with your relationships, they can be toxic or nourishing.

Second - Commit to becoming a life-long learner. Our public education system is set up to give you a minimum education on success principles. You will learn how to survive, but not thrive. No one cares how successful you become, they just care enough so that you do not become a drain on the public assistance trough - that is it plain and simple! If you want to reach the top you must learn from the experts in your field that have achieved the results you are looking for. Imagine a child coming home from his last day in grade 3 saying to you that he is done learning, has learned all he needs to learn. That is ultimately what 99% of the people do when they graduate from high school or college, they quit learning.

Third - Define your outcome. What is it that you are trying to achieve? Be specific, very specific. In my workshops I have heard people say they want more money, that is their ideal outcome. When I walk over and hand them a nickel and tell them they have now achieved their goal, they get upset. Why? Isn't that what they wanted? No, of course not. The problem is that your subconscious mind will set out to achieve the goal or outcome you set, however, it won't do much more than that either. Be very clear and of course WRITE IT DOWN. Now, in my workshops I talk about how important writing down your goals is and show all kind of statistics verifying the results of writing down your goals. Next day guess what happens? We go around the table and ask how many people wrote down their goals the previous night, want to guess how many have? Zero, none, zippo. Again, waiting for the white horse (ain't coming). WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS.
Fourth - Take action, do something everyday that moves you towards your goal. The key here is to separate the learning component from the actual day to day activities that put money in your pocket. Too often people consider learning an action but it is not. The application of what you have learned is the action. - DO SOMETHING EVERYDAY.

And the final component is... NEVER GIVE UP. Life is tough - for everyone and always will be. It is tough to be a loser and it is tough to be a winner (but a lot more fun to be a winner!). You will face difficulties every step of the way and your commitment to overcoming them will determine your results. Babies don't stop on their quest to walk or talk and neither should you stop trying to achieve your objective.
That in a nutshell is a roadmap to success (or conversely, failure). The choice is YOURS - now what are YOU going to do about it???

How Badly Do You Want Your Goal?

Are you pursuing a goal or are you following a plan? Friedrich Nietzsche said it pretty plainly. He said "Many are stubborn in pursuit of the path they have chosen, few in pursuit of the goal."

Which one are you? Are you so committed to your plan that you're failing to insist that it produces the results you need? If you are, you might be pursuing the plan rather than the goal.

Periodically you should stop and examine what you're doing. Are you truly pursuing your goal or are you simply, stubbornly pursuing the plan you've set for yourself? There is a big difference. One will help you reach your dreams; the other might not.

When you choose a goal, you also establish a plan that will take you to it. That's a key part of the whole process. But part of the plan you establish should include careful examination of your progress. Things change!

Imagine that you set a goal ten years ago to retire after thirty years. (You must be much younger than I am!) You found a good financial advisor to help you set a solid course to achieve your goal. Your advisor knew tax law, markets, investing, and the other important things required for planning for your retirement.

You got started and you have been faithfully following that plan faithfully. Good for you! In fact, a couple of years ago your advisor moved to a different state, and referred you to a new one. That's good. You want to make sure you have good advice in these trying financial times.

But, about six months after you started working with the new advisor, he wanted you to change your plan a bit. New laws have been passed making some of the investment markets chosen ten years ago much less attractive today. Your new advisor is intent on keeping you on track to your retirement date.

What do you do? If you choose to ignore the new advice because you were committed to following your plan you could be making a big mistake. You had a very knowledgeable advisor who built your plan and you're very disciplined...you always follow through!

What should you do? Are you pursuing your plan or your goal? You have new, updated information indicating that the plan needs to be changed if you want reach your goal. It's time for a good decision!

What was it Nietzsche said again? "Many are stubborn in pursuit of the path they have chosen, few in pursuit of the goal." This is a good reminder that you not only need to execute your plan, you need to keep your plan current and ensure that it takes you successfully to your goal. After all, that's why you set the plan in the first place!

Home Business Tips - How Badly Do You Want Your Own Lucrative Home Business?

Many people are considering 'home biz' opportunities today, either to supplement their income or as a means to overcome the threat to their regular jobs. Fortunately, there are several viable opportunities available today and as a new comer into the arena, you should learn how to ensure home business success. Here are a few tips to help you along the way.

1. Don different caps

As a home biz entrepreneur, you would be called upon to wear different caps. You have or should acquire knowledge on different disciplines of business, such as finance, sales, inventory, marketing etc. But, if you have limitations on this front, no need to despair. There are home business opportunities where you simply perform an assigned task and get paid for that.

2. Your tools

Whether you embark on a home biz or a work at home opportunity, the tools you deploy to achieve the desired goals play a crucial role. Personal computer, fax and a printer are among the essentials to ensure home business success. You should ensure that these are in prime state and technical failure does not contribute to business failure.

3. Rome was not built in a day

Success in your business will also depend on your own confidence levels. Rome was not built in a day. The 'Robert Bruce story' would also be worth remembering in the context of your new home business. Take your time before taking the plunge. Analyze your business plan from all angles. Convince yourself that you can succeed and then jump start your home business.
