What does it cost to succeed? Persistence - Motivation - Sacrifice. Our dreams can be personal, professional and recreational. One thing about our dreams, they don't cost a thing. Dreams, talents and gifts are placed in our heart by God. Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you; says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
God desires us to have a good life, a good future. We were created for a purpose to fulfill on this earth. I believe our dreams are given to us to help us achieve higher levels continually in our life and to be a blessing to others. Some may dreams of a better job, new home, new car. Most of all I believe we all dreams to have great successful children and a family God will be happy with.
I can't emphasize enough - how bad do you want it? Are you willing to see your dreams come to past? Are you willing to press through any adversity, trial or temptation that would try to sway you away from your dreams? I hope so! When we dream, we must also remember we will be tested. Oh the times will come to see just what we are made out of. I have heard it described as Dream Thieves. That is why it is important to know:
1) Our dreams will be fulfilled in God's season
2) We can't let people put down our dreams
3) We must protect our dreams
4) We must be careful and mindful of whom we share our dreams with. Once you identify your dreams - Be determined - Be flexible and most of all be encouraged. Remember if it was so easy, everyone would be achieving it. Now I must say it is attainable, because what God has placed in us is surely appointed for a day and time.
Complacency can drive you away from your dreams. Procrastination is another enemy that will drift you off your path of your dreams. Don't let it happen. Once you recognize these two enemies take authority, speak the word of God and pursue! "Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you".
I remember so many times where I just didn't feel like working on my dreams. Just seemed the time wasn't right. Whether I wanted to sleep, eat or just being lazy. I believe if we become too complacent, it could cost us our dreams. We can't afford to let that happen. Remember there is someone somewhere that need what you have.
Believe that you are here for a purpose, a destiny and a path. A path and light for someone else. Not only for your home, your family but for others God allows coming in your path. Whatever you have a passion for, that will bring you great success in your life. Many people are unhappy in their life, for the simple fact that don't have passion or care for what they are doing. Especially their job. All they see is a paycheck and that is all. That is a need, not a passion. There is no fulfillment in that and we shouldn't go through life burdened down, frustrated and disgusted because we aren't willing to challenge our self to what is really in us.
Realize your potential is limitless in God. When you come to know who we are in Christ, there is nothing we can't achieve. When we are setting out for achieving great things in our life, seek help, look for a mentor, a friend that you trust and feel confident in. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Write out your plan and vision, and make it plain. Seeking someone who has achieved and still achieving great things will be a plus in your success. You must look for someone who has a determined mindset and is not selfish in any way in helping you.
Last thing to remember, you must remember when all Hell break lose, you are right at the door of your dream. The enemy would use this time to cause distraction, to break your focus, to lose your vision. Don't fall for it. If you can believe it - you can achieve it.
Keep your focus on what's in your heart, not on what or who is around you.
