You Want A Great Body - But How Bad Do You Want It?

There are people who suggest that "desire" is evil and that desire is responsible for all our troubles, strife and unhappiness in life. That is mistaken. That would be confusing desire with greed and excess. The truth is, nothing would ever happen if it weren't for desire. Without desire, you would never get the car you want, you would never get the home you want, you would never get the companionship you want and you would never get the body you want.

Desire is unexpressed talent, unfulfilled potential or an underperformed function calling out, and seeking expression or improvement. It's that higher voice within you saying, "Hey, you're more than this, you're better than this, and you deserve it, so get moving, and go get it!"

Desire is a positive and powerful force for change and as Napoleon Hill said, "Desire is the starting point of all achievement."

I would add to Napoleon Hill's sentiment by saying that desire is also the finishing point of all achievement.

Some people talk about the body they would like to have, but it's only a wishy washy desire with no OOMPF behind it. If your desire is not strong enough - if it is not a burning desire - you'll never finish - you'll quit at the first obstacle or difficulty.

People with a burning desire do not quit. They are unstoppable.

Just look at New Year's resolutions. Three months into the new year, how's your new year's resolution coming along?

In January, if you set a real fitness transformation goal, in writing, backed with burning desire and strong emotional reasons why you wanted that goal, then I know that your body has completely transformed in the past three months.

If you didn't set goals at all, if you set a wimpy "resolution," if you didn't come up with any good reasons why you must change, or if you lacked desire, then I know that your body looks more or less the same as it did three months ago.

What does the rest of this year have in store for you? I can tell you without hesitation that your future success will come in direct proportion to your level of desire and I've seen the proof time after time.

Recently, I received an email from Mike Ogorek, who posted his astonishing before and after fat loss success story on his web page (the link is below)

On his page, which describes and photographically illustrates his incredibly inspirational weight loss of 137 pounds, Mike wrote a lot of things which show just how intelligent he is with his approach to fat loss and staying motivated.

One thing, however, jumped right off the page when I read it. Mike wrote,

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is what it all boils down to: How bad do you want it?"

Mike had a burning desire - and he burned off 137 pounds of fat!

You can burn the fat too, but you gotta want it...

You gotta decide what you want, then stand up and shout, "THIS IS WHAT I WANT and I AM GOING TO GET IT!

A better body does not come in a pill or a bottle. Fat loss success does not even depend solely on the particular training program you are using. There are many different approaches to nutrition and exercise that can work, and different things work for different people.

But the one thing that MUST always be there is a goal and the burning desire to achieve it.

When you don't have it, no diet or workout will help. When you do have it, nothing can stop you from getting the body you want

Take a look at Mike Ogorek's transformation story here and see what BURNING DESIRE and an intelligent plan can do for YOU:

How Bad Do You Want Financial Freedom and Success in Your Life?

That is a question that I am sure everybody would answer with "I want it." Well, I am here to tell you financial freedom is achievable. Yes, it sure is but the problem is you have to have the desire to go and get it. Most people fail to achieve there dreams and goals because the DESIRE is not there. To achieve success in anything you want in life takes desire. The desire is what made Michael Jordon, Bill Gates, Bill Walton and even me successful.

Desire is one of the main keys to your success. You and you alone must decide that you have the desire to go on until you get to your goal. Desire is the thing that must people fail at. You need to search into your soul and your heart and make a true commitment that nothing is going to stop you to achieve your goal. I don't know what your dreams and goals are but most people do want financial freedom. Maybe you want to be a pro ball player, a doctor, or a lawyer what ever it might be you need to put it into your heart and just do it.

Believe me I know how hard that is. It was not easy for me but the one thing that I had was the desire to succeed. Success is a learned skill. I remember when I wanted to be a high fashion model. My friends and even my family did not support me. So, I packed up and moved to New York City. The capital of modeling.

I went to every top agency in New York and every one of them tuned me down. They all said go out get there and get some work and when you do come back. I then went to the small agencies and 2 of them took me on. The only problem with small agencies is they don't have the contacts that the big ones have. So, I made my own appointments.

My goal was 25 appointments a week. It took me 11 1/2 months to get my first job. That meant that I receive over 1,000 no's before I got my first YES. The rest is history. I modeled all over the world for 10 years, made a ton of money. After modeling I became a scout for the major agencies in New York, Europe and Japan. Plus I wrote a book on modeling. Just a plan old guy from Cape Cod.

So, What I am telling everyone. If you want something find the desire that is inside of you and don't let anything or anyone stop you. God has given us all gifts and talents. Find that gift that is inside of you and just do it. Stop blaming other people for your failure. Yes, that is just what I said. Being a success coach I hear so much blame put on other people. I don't blame anyone for my failures not matter what. The reason why is because I was the one that made the decision to do what every. No one to blame but ME.

When ever I start coaching people I let them do 98% of the talking. I want to get to know them and build a relationship. What I hear is the blame. I blame my parents, my boss, my wife, my kids, my friends. I am to fat, to skinny, to ugly. People just don't like me. I did not do well in school. My teachers didn't like me, my coach didn't like me and more.

All that is just negative self talk. My advice to all the above is to change. Change the people you are around and change the way you talk to your self. When I decided to become a model I packed up and moved away from all those negative people. I knew what I wanted and deep inside I know that I would get it.

I feel the same way now about my network marketing business. I know that network marketing works and I will not give up. Network marketing is a proven business and it works for millions of people. I have always been positive and when people around me talk negative I just leave and I mean leave. If you hang around 4 negative people you will be the 5th.  If you hang around 4 broke people you will be the 5th.

Don't forget the number one secret to success is desire. Do you have the desire to succeed? That is the only question you need to ask yourself. If so then find the other keys to success. They are all around you.

How Bad Do You Want Change?

I get asked quite frequently, "How have you been able to create such success, and what is your secret." Each and every time, I give the same answer, "A Burning Desire." Notice I didn't say "Luke-Warm" desire. I never matters what type of goals people have, whether long term or short term. It's How bad do they want them. I see too often with associates of mine spending an amazing amount of time and energy setting forth their goals. They put them on their bathroom mirror, coffee pot, or their rear view mirror in their car.

All of this is done to remind them of what they are reaching for and working so hard to attain. I encourage this and recommend it highly for all my new business partners. But, the true desire for anyone to grab hold of any goal is to achieve Internally. Notes and reminders of goals are superficial. A burning desire is to "Internalize" those goals with every waking breath.

You have to want that goal like you want that next breath of fresh air. One can not make goals, and work towards them thinking to themselves, "Boy, I sure hope I am successful." It doesn't work that way. We need to hard wire ourselves internally, to prove to ourselves that we actually need that goal like we need the next breath of fresh air.

A funny thing happens to us when we actually convince ourselves that we Need our goals to survive and not simply Hope that we get them. This is where what I like to call, HR comes in. Some know that as our Human Resources. I like to think of it as our Habitual Repetition. This is what I will cover more of in my next article.

Wealthy Retirement - How Bad Do You Want to Achieve That

Surely, all of us want to someday enjoy a wealthy retirement. Although the thought of retirement may give you images of being able to chill out, relax, and sleep without calls and emails, it may not be as easy if you do not have the financial capacity to back you up. This is why really planning for your retirement is always an essential thing to consider.

These days, more and more people are finding themselves looking for ways wherein they can better prepare for retirement. Some companies easily make this available as a benefit to their employees. They can help automate the process of saving by collecting from the employees' salaries and then give it to them as retirement period kicks in.

Although there certainly are various available programs being offered in planning for retirement, you should not just blindly join or sign up with any of these programs without first studying very eagerly the details and process involved within any particular program.

However, simply saving money or joining a retirement plan program will not be enough to reach your goal of someday enjoying a wealthy retirement. The true secret in retiring wealthy is having more than enough money to sustain your day to day needs. Meaning, you have more than enough resources for yourself that you even have extra resources to share with others and possibly be of big help to their needs as well, most particularly in the financial aspect.

So then, what better options are there available in planning for a wealthy retirement aside from saving and joining retirement programs?

The best solution so far in planning to retire wealthy is to be able to establish your own business. Having a stable business gives you so much potential in increasing your financial resources not only during that time while waiting for your retirement age to arrive, but also during your retirement period itself. Remember if you are allotting just a fraction of your time with your business now then just imagine how much profit will you be making when you allot your full time in managing your business come your retirement period.

Another great solution in achieving a truly wealthy retirement is by placing your money on highly valuable investments. One good advice is investing on real estate properties. Real estates are considered to be extremely good investments for the reason that real estates' value appreciates continuously overtime. And there are various other options on how to wisely create and manage investments. You just have to do a careful study before coming up with a final decision.

The challenge of achieving a truly wealthy retirement

There is only one thing you need to consider when planning to someday enjoy a wealthy retirement - and that is the fact that it is no ordinary goal to successfully accomplish. However, if you have that strong desire and faith coupled with strong persistence in putting your plans into action then really, you have everything that you need already.

How Bad Do You Want To Quit Smoking? - These Thoughts May Help You Decide

Quitting smoking is in the minds of most smokers, though it is a task easier said than done. Dangers of smoking are well-known and can have serious harmful effects on the quality of your life besides diseases it can bring. Your decision to quit smoking is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your family. The bad thing about cigarettes is that they may bring disease and death to you at an early age. Bad diseases and death associated with smoking can be prevented if a smoker can quit, now, before it's too late.

Nicotine

Nicotine is a drug found naturally in tobacco that goes to the brain and creates a short term feeling of pleasure. Nicotine can be found in breast milk and even in cervix mucus secretions of smokers. When quitting smoking, nicotine replacement can help reduce many of the physical symptoms of withdrawals. Nicotine is considered one of the most additive substances on the Earth and it takes time to rid the body of its presence and effects. The top three deadliest poisons are, 1 Arsenic, 2 Strychnine, 3 Nicotine.

Reason to stop smoking

Health concerns usually top the list of reasons people give for quitting smoking. Nearly everyone knows that smoking can cause lung cancer, but few people realize it is also a risk factor for many other kinds of cancer which includes cancer of the mouth, voice box (larynx),throat (pharynx), esophagus, bladder, kidney, pancreas, cervix, stomach, and some leukemia's just to name a few. Smoking also causes premature wrinkling of the skin, bad smelling clothes and hair, yellow fingernails and bad breath from smoking.

Risks for Others

Risking one's own health is one thing but risking the health of their family and others is another. Secondhand smoke has been classified by the Environmental Protection Agency as a known cause of cancer (Group A carcinogen). Contact with secondhand smoke can cause disease and early deaths in adults and children who do not smoke. Secondhand smoke contains hundreds of chemicals known to be toxic or carcinogenic, including formaldehyde, benzene, vinyl chloride, arsenic ammonia and hydrogen cyanide. Secondhand smoke causes roughly 3,400 lung cancer deaths and 46,000 heart disease deaths in adult nonsmokers in the United States each year.

Help to quit

Your desire to quit smoking is very important in determining the success you will have in quitting. Being able to quit smoking is something that many smokers wish for. Information to help people quit smoking is also available through community hospitals, the yellow pages (under "drug abuse and addiction"), public libraries, health maintenance organizations, health fairs, bookstores, and community quit lines. Your decision to quit smoking is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your family. Quitting smoking is not easy, but you can do it. Quitting smoking is not easy, but you can do it.

How Badly Do You Want Success?

Is it bad enough to cut yourself some slack? Why? Because in order for you to get to where you want to go, you need to loosen up. Stick with me here and I will explain why.

I discovered, the hard way, by personal experience, that most people who want success, including myself, are too hard on themselves. Subsequently, when they screw up, they come down on themselves very hard. In fact, in most cases, too hard.

Nobody likes to be criticized or yelled at. Most people pull in their horns and go back to being their own little quiet selves. You know what I am talking about. "Gee, I am sorry. I didn't mean to make any nasty waves."

Can you imagine people at the top of their game coming off with that kind of statement? How about Ted Turner. Can you imagine him saying, " I'm sorry..."?

What makes us act and think this way? Specifically, the problem relates to our self-image, our comfort zone, and fear. Most of us, who want success, have these three forces of nature working against us.

Mr. Fear is always in the game. You can believe it. He knows his territory and his interests and he doesn't let anybody or anything get in his way. Ironically, Mr. Fear believes your best interests are his best interests.

Your self-image and your comfort zone are really the same thing. The image you have of yourself, your stand operation procedure, is the boundary you have unconsciously established for yourself as a "comfy" place to be. As long as you don't leave that self-imposed boundary, your comfort zone, everything is nice, warm and comfortable.

Trouble begins when you start pushing your comfort zone boundary or self-image. Then, your enforcer and and comfort zone protector,Mr. Fear, steps up to the plate and lets you know in no uncertain terms that you are asking for trouble, especially when you want success.

Mr. Fear does this by giving you lots of anxiety and nervousness. You may find the rationale behind all of this by reading Maxwell Maltz's book on Psycho-Cybernetics.

The point is, if you really want to fly and grow in your lifetime, you need to quit dwelling on your mistakes and imperfections. Cut yourself some slack. Learn to like yourself and forgive yourself.

Why is this important? The answer is very simple. If you are a grade C player now and you want to be a grade A player, then you must begin doing and thinking like a grade A player.
This means you are going to be living and working in unfamiliar territory. And, until you get familiar and comfortable with your new surroundings, you are going to be making mistakes. And yes, your old enemy, Mr. Fear is going to be close by whispering in your ear all of his cautionary tales of woe.

Now, this is where life gets interesting. Once Fear gets his claws into you, believe me, he will, you must keep your eye and emotions on your goal. Don't let the Sirens of Fear get you down and beat you. Unfortunately, there is no immunization for fear.

What you can do is realize what is happening to you. Understand why you experiencing anxiety, self-doubt and fear. Try to grab onto your inner resources of hope and inspiration. Don't be afraid to express your worries to friends that are of a similar trend of thought as yourself.

I personally, went through a new and stressful experience, similar to what I have mentioned. Specifically, I decided I should volunteer for my local community Emergency Squad. We answer rescue calls for people that are sick. We meet and greet them with an ambulance. We are First Responders. Yes, and I want success.

During my learning curve, I have been very uptight about learning all of the new things required of a First Responder. I even doubted by decision to do this volunteer stuff.

Well, I have hung in there, and now things are beginning to come together. Subsequently, I feel more relaxed in this new and challenging environment.

But, for a while, I was scared stiff that I was going to make mistakes and look like a fool. Remember, I want success.

I am learning to relax and cut myself some slack. Who knows, maybe someday I will be a world class First Responder!

How Bad Do You Want to Succeed

Do you want to succeed so bad that you will do anything for it?

Do you wake up every morning not wanting to go to work? Are tired of the boss telling you when you will have time off and how long your vacation will be? Or are you just tired of not having enough income coming in to pay the bills? Maybe you enjoy what you do but you just want something more! If this sounds like you than let's see if this will help you.

First you Need a want or a bunch of wants!

So what do you want? Really what do you want? Do you want to just get up in the morning and drink coffee and not have to rush off to work? How about spending lots of time with your family? Do you like to just wear flip flops all day long? Do you want to have a full message every week? How about a full time house cleaner/nanny/helper? Or new house, new car, how about you want to have money to totally support a charity? I think you get the drift.

Now it's action time!

Now after you write all of these items down look at them and make sure they are things that if you don't become successful in a business it's going to really make you cry. OK so now what? What will you do about it? Are you willing to learn something new like maybe a business on the side? Are you willing to turn off the TV for a few hours each week? Are you willing to work on your personal development?

Are you willing to do what you need to do?

Are you willing to partner up with someone who has already succeeded in business before you? Or will you go out and try to start your new business on your own? I want to see you succeed in business because I know if you start with the right information you have a better chance of success.

People who succeed in business will...

I want to see you succeed in business because I know if you start with the right information at hand you have a better chance of succeeding. I am a firm believer that people that succeed in business will reach out and help more people. Anyone can be successful if they believe they can and are willing to get the right help from the right people.

If you are ready than you seek out more information on what to do next. There is no better time than now to change your financial future then NOW.

God Has Humor

Ez Mony Method

On the first day, God created the dog and said, sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this I will give you a life span of twenty years. The dog said, “That’s a long time to be barking. How
about only ten years and I’ll give you back the other ten?” And God said that it was good.
On the second day, God created the monkey and said, “Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I’ll give you a twenty-year life span.”
The monkey said, “Monkey tricks for twenty years? That’s a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?”
And God again said that it was good.
On the third day, God created the cow and said, “You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer’s family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.”
The cow said, “That’s kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I’ll give back the other forty?”
And God agreed it was good.
On the fourth day, God created humans and said, “Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I’ll give you twenty years.”
But the human said, “Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?”
“Okay,” said God, “You asked for it.”
So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.
Life has now been explained to you.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information. I’m doing it as a public service. If you are looking for me I will be on the front porch.
